Robbie Savage has laughed at Chris Sutton for thinking Rangers were a “shambles” as they picked up a 1-1 draw against Celtic on Sunday afternoon.

Over the course of the season, former Premier League striker Sutton has constantly had a go at the Gers for their performances and the way they have managed themselves off the field.

The club confirmed in February that Mark Warburton had resigned from his post at Ibrox, a claim he continuously denies.

Former footballer turned pundit, Sutton couldn’t help but have a go at the running of the club as the Gers have now picked up a point at their Old Firm rivals.

Former midfielder Savage reminded Sutton of his comments as stand-in coach Graeme Murty secured a late draw.

Stuart Armstong opened the scoring for the home team, but defender Clint Hill netted late on to the joy of the away supporters.

Despite the dropped points for Brendan Rodgers men, they are still on course to win the Scottish Premiership title in record fashion.

They still lead their Glasgow rivals by 33 points and are still unbeaten for the season with two draws and 26 wins to their names during this debut campaign for the Northern Irishman.

Furthermore, they have beaten the Gers on three out of four occasions this term as they are set to meet once again, this time in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on April 23.

In other Rangers news, fans on Twitter slammed this 22-year-old for showing no passion during the draw against Celtic.
