Robbie Savage predicts Arsenal v Bournemouth

By Harvey Byrne

Former Premier League ace Robbie Savage has predicted a 3-1 win for Arsenal against Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The Gunners are preparing to travel to the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday evening in a clash which sees fourth take on ninth.

The north London side have picked up two wins from their previous two fixtures and Savage believes they will make it three.

“Bournemouth against Arsenal, I’m going Bourneouth 1-3 Arsenal,” told Savage to betting company William Hill.

Bournemouth bounced back from two defeats suffered against Southampton and Chelsea to beat Swansea 3-0 on New Years Eve.

Meanwhile, Arsenal battled to a 2-0 victory with Olivier Giroud and Alex Iwobi getting on the score sheet against Crystal Palace.

The two sides are currently separated by just five places, but there is a huge 16-point gap between the top flight pair.

When the two clubs met each other earlier in the campaign in November they did actually play out a 3-1 scoreline with an Alexis Sanchez double alongside a Theo Walcott effort cancelling out a Callum Wilson penalty.

The Gunners will be keen to pick up all three points again with fierce rivals Tottenham and Manchester United hot on their heels in fifth and sixth respectively.

In other Arsenal news, Stan Collymore also predicted the Gunners clash with the Cherries.
