Graham Roberts heaped praise on Harry Kane after watching his performance in Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Watford on Saturday.
The former Spurs player defended the team’s performance on social media from angry fans before posting one final message about Kane’s performance.
Have to say @HKane let the line on his own superbly when down to ten men he was kicked all over the place real leader.

The retired defender, who featured over 200 times for Tottenham, was impressed with Kane’s ability to lead the line on his own.
The 58-year-old also highlighted that the striker was being kicked all over the place but continued, showing himself to be a real leader when the side needed him most.
Tottenham were in need of a leader after going down to 10-men following Davinson Sanchez’s sending off, which came after a collision with Richarlison in the second-half.
Despite being a man down, Spurs were still able to earn a point against high-flying Watford, which helped Mauricio Pochettino’s side climb to sixth in the table.
Roberts praised the England striker in a game despite him uncharacteristically not scoring, ending his recent goal scoring run.
The striker had scored in last three games ahead of the Watford clash, and was the only goalscorer for Tottenham in their last two league matches.
The 24-year-old striker has been in sensational form this season, having scored 16 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham.
Despite his goals, Spurs are on a disappointing run of form in the league, having not won any of their last four league games.
In other Tottenham news, fans were raving over the display of one man in their clash with Watford.
