'I hadn't gone anywhere at all' - Roberts speaks out after Celtic return

Celtic’s newest signing Patrick Roberts has revealed that he felt as though he “hadn’t gone anywhere at all” after returning to training at the Lennoxtown complex with his team mates.
The 20-year-old recently rejoined the club on a second loan spell after he initially joined the Hoops in February 2016 for an 18 month stint at Parkhead.
The Manchester City starlet was introduced to the media back in his Celtic strip on Tuesday evening, where he spoke about his return to the squad.
The Bhoys shared Roberts’ thoughts on rejoining the Glaswegian outfit on their official Twitter account.

The young winger’s return to the club was possibly the most eagerly awaited piece of transfer business throughout the summer in Scotland, and fans were absolutely delighted to see him in a green and white striped jersey once again.

The Englishman made quite the impact during his time at Paradise after he made a total of 60 appearances since joining the club halfway through the 2015/16 season, where he also scored 17 goals and provided an impressive 21 assists.
