Robinson issues 'huge' Tottenham claim after Lo Celso lambasted by Gold
Paul Robinson has heaped praise on Giovani Lo Celso after Tottenham were knocked out of the League Cup by Chelsea.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one predicted the “brilliant” 25-year-old to have “a big role” between now and the end of the season.
Lo Celso started his second consecutive match on Wednesday night as Spurs lost 1-0 to their London rivals in the second leg of their semi final.

Football.London‘s Alasdair Gold (12 January) said the centre-midfielder did not justify his selection and rated his performance four out of 10.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on Lo Celso, Robinson said: “I’m a huge fan of Lo Celso.

“I like his attitude and I like the way he plays. He has really struggled this season because of injuries.
“His versatility gives a manager so many options. He’s a great player to have in your squad. Last season we saw him drop deep alongside Hojbjerg but he is also brilliant as a 10.
“Offensively and defensively he’s very good. He’s just a brilliant player to have in your armoury wherever you play him. His delivery from set pieces is also excellent.
“I think he’s going to have a big role to play at Spurs between now and the end of the season.”
