Rodney Marsh uses three words to describe Tottenham in 2017

By Harvey Byrne

Outspoken football pundit Rodney Marsh has used “vibrant,” “skillful,” and “focused” to describe Tottenham in 2017.

The north London club have been in fine form since the start of the year, recording 14 league victories from 16 top-flight matches.

Their stunning run has seen them reduce the gap with Antonio Conte’s Chelsea team to just four points and with four matches remaining the title race is still well underway.

Now, former England international Marsh is never shy with his views and on his personal Twitter account he named Manchester City as “predictable,” “ordinary,” and “precious” before hailing Spurs.

Many believe the Tottenham team contains a number of stars and the likes of Hugo Lloris, Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama are considered among the best in the Premier League in their positions.

However, it is thought that the flair of attackers Dele Alli, Harry Kane and even Kyle Walker and Danny Rose has influenced Marsh in calling the side “vibrant” and “skillful.”

The attacking duo have contributed a fine 38 goals in 59 Premier League appearances this season, while wing-backs Walker and Rose have been hailed for their influence in both the attack and defence despite the latter so far spending the majority of 2017 in the treatment room.

In other Tottenham news, Spurs fans have urged this 28-year-old to sign a deal at the club.
