Ronald Koeman delivers message to Everton fans after defeat against Tottenham
By Harvey Byrne
Everton boss Ronald Koeman praised his side’s character on Twitter following their 3-2 defeat against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
The Toffees came up against a fit and firing Spurs team, who also possessed an on song star in Harry Kane, finishing with two goals to his name.
The scoreline looked like it could have read badly for the Merseyside club after they went two goals behind at White Hart Lane.
However, goals from Romelu Lukaku and Enner Valencia in the last 10 minutes ensured that a Dele Alli stoppage time goal was necessary to separate the two teams.
It will have been disappointing for Everton to have left London with nothing, but Koeman has now highlighted to fans on his personal Twitter account that they have two home games coming up which could set them right again.

Everton’s next match will see them face close league rivals West Brom at Goodison Park before welcoming relegation battling Hull to their home.
They will be aiming to take all six points from these two matches and with the season nearing it’s closing stages they could have a huge say in the Toffees gaining European football next season.
