Ronaldo 'fuming' with Solskjaer after what I've seen at Man United - pundit
Cristiano Ronaldo will be “fuming” after he was dropped to the Man United bench, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted it was a “very strange decision” by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Ronaldo was introduced from the bench in the 57th minute with United 1-0 up before Andros Townsend levelled the scores less than 10 minutes later.
As seen on Match of the Day, Ronaldo was visibly annoyed when he left the pitch at the end of the game.
“I think it was mainly the fact that he was dropped but also because they did not manage to win the game,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Ronaldo will have looked at it and thought ‘We need to be beating these teams and we’re dropping points, I want to win the league title.’

“He’ll be frustrated at that and the fact he didn’t start. He played all of the Euros, barely missed a minute. He’s probably thinking ‘I don’t need a rest’.
“It’s a bit of both, he’s fuming at the decision from Ole.
“It was a very strange decision. I don’t know if Solskjaer wanted to show he’s the main man, he can drop Ronaldo if he wants. It was very odd.”
Ronaldo has already scored five times in six appearances across all competitions for Man United since his £12.9m move from Juventus over the summer.
The 36-year-old signed a two-year deal with the northwest giants that will expire in the summer of 2023.
