Ronaldo set for demotion at Man United as Rangnick plan revealed - pundit
Paul Robinson has poured doubt over Cristiano Ronaldo’s ability to press for Man United on a consistent basis.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and Leeds United goalkeeper told fans “not to get carried away” after one high-intensity performance from the 36-year-old.
Ronaldo was one of a number of United players who showed marked improvement off the ball in Ralf Rangnick’s first game in charge.

“If he can do that over a period of time then fair enough.
“I know Ronaldo looks after himself but we know how old he is. He can’t play 50 games a season, certainly not in that kind of role.
“If that is the system the manager is going to play squad rotation is going to very important.
“Rangnick will be very pleased with what he got out of his players, including Ronaldo, against Palace though. That has to be said.”
Ronaldo return to Old Trafford from Juventus in the summer.
He has scored 12 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions this season.
