Rosický spent ten years at Arsenal, and the club hierarchy has a history of employing former players. Arteta and Edu are notable examples.
However, a player’s return to the club doesn’t always guarantee success. Fans were stunned when Edu resigned from his role, and Arteta has recently faced criticism for poor performances on the pitch.

The club have yet to appoint a new sporting director. With the January transfer window already a week in, potential signings appear increasingly unlikely.
News of Rosický’s possible return hasn’t been met with much enthusiasm from fans. One supporter criticised his current work at Sparta Prague, saying, “How many big deals has he pulled off?”
Another fan argued, “This is where Arsenal fail” expressing doubts about the decision.
One fan commented, “I don’t think the sporting director should be a good friend and ex-teammate of Arteta”. This alludes to possible issues with objectivity or accountability.
