Sadio Mane: Pundit fears Liverpool could lose two stars after Sky update - 'it's not a good sign'

Kevin Campbell fears Bayern Munich’s reported interest in Sadio Mane is “not a good sign” for Liverpool.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker suggested two from Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino would leave this summer.

Mane has just over 12 months remaining on his contract at Anfield.

According to Sky Germany (10 May), Bayern Munich are interested in signing the Senegal international in the summer.

Speaking after the 2-1 win over Aston Villa, as quoted by the Mirror (10 May), Mane revealed he was happy at Liverpool despite the exit talk.

When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of Mane’s future, Campbell said: “It’s not a good sign.

“This might be why [Luis] Diaz was brought in.

“There is going to be change at Liverpool. You cannot keep everybody. Nobody is bigger than the football club.

“The club will move on from Mane, Salah and Firmino. Look at the greats that have been there. Players will always move on. It is just a case of when.

“I don’t think they’ll lose all three. I think one or two might go. Others are making their names right now. That is the natural progression. This is how things are going to pan out.”

Mane has been one of Liverpool’s standout performers this season.

He has contributed 22 goals and four assists in 48 appearances across all competitions.
