Scott Brown delivers Instagram verdict on Celtic victory v Partick

Celtic captain Scott Brown has taken to Instagram to praise his team-mates following the Hoops’ 2-1 win over Partick Thistle.
The Bhoys trailed the Firhill side 1-0 at half-time but a second penalty from Scott Sinclair levelled the game and substitute Leigh Griffiths popped up with the winner to claim the three points.
Brown was delighted with the spirit shown by his team-mates to get all three points.
“Great 3 points after coming back from 1-0 down at half time. Great goal from Leigh Griffiths and Scott Sinclair. Now to Saturday,” he said, as quoted on his official Instagram account.

The victory puts the Bhoys 11 points ahead of second placed Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, with the Dons next in action against Rangers on Wednesday night.
As for the game itself, the Hoops started well but seemed to struggle as the first-half went on and it was no surprise to see the Jags take the lead.
The half-time introduction of Leigh Griffiths changed the game, as the Hoops were far more threatening with the Scotland international on the park, and it was somewhat inevitable that he would score the winner following Scott Sinclair’s equaliser from the penalty spot.
The Hoops return to league duty on Saturday when they take on Neil Lennon’s Hibs, a team that they haven’t defeated this season, at Celtic Park.
