Sean Dyche could quit Everton in stunning twist – sources
Sean Dyche could sensationally look to leave Everton this summer due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the club, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed a number of clubs could be plotting a move to appoint Dyche following the job he’s done at Goodison Park.
Everton have managed to avoid relegation this season after putting together a strong run of results over the past few weeks.
The Toffees are now five games unbeaten and sit 15th in the Premier League table heading into the final round of fixtures.
Dyche has had to contend with several off-field issues this season after the club were deducted eight points for breaching the league’s spending rules and 777 Partners’ proposed takeover has faced numerous difficulties.
Football Insider revealed on 10 May the takeover will not be completed despite talks around the deal continuing to drag on at Goodison Park.
Sean Dyche could look to leave Everton for more stability
The club’s troubling financial situation has meant Dyche hasn’t been able to plan for next season.
The 52-year-old is eager to help the club kick on after spending the past few years at the wrong end of the table fighting off relegation.
O’Rourke revealed the Blues manager could look to move on this summer if he’s offered more stability elsewhere following a chaotic past 18 months on Merseyside.

Everton could be forced to sell some of their star players once the transfer window reopens to help balance the books and avoid any further points deductions.
Football Insider revealed on 17 May the club are likely to accept bids of more than £50million for midfielder Amadou Onana to help ease their financial concerns.
