Sean Dyche in the ‘running’ to be Leicester City manager hours after Nottingham Forest sacking
Sean Dyche has only been out of work for a matter of hours but could soon find himself back in the dugout.
Nottingham Forest sacked Dyche on Thursday, with the 0-0 draw against Wolves on Wednesday proving to be the final straw.
While the former Everton boss had got off to a good start at the City Ground, results soon dwindled, with the Reds moving closer and closer to the bottom three.
Forest fans soon turned against Dyche, and now his reign at the East Midlands club has ended after just 114 days.
However, despite the dismissal being fresh in many minds, the manager has instantly become one of the favourites to take over at Leicester City.
Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.

Sean Dyche 8/1 to take over at Leicester City
In the Championship, Leicester are on the hunt for a new manager after Marti Cifuentes was sacked in late January.
The Foxes are currently in the middle of a crisis, with the club sitting 21st in the division, and only above the drop zone on goal difference.
On Tuesday, Leicester somehow botched a 3-0 lead at the King Power Stadium to lose 4-3 to Southampton, further exposing their lack of quality.
Now, with the club in serious danger of dipping into League One, one bookmaker has made Dyche one of the favourites to come in.

After his dismissal at Forest, he has been placed as the fifth-favourite at 8/1, with Oddschecker on 12 February confirming that his odds have shortened.
Who else is in the running for the Leicester job?
Currently, Ralph Hasenhuttl is the favourite for the Leicester job at 9/4.
The former Southampton boss emerged as a surprise favourite on Wednesday, having not worked in England since he was dismissed by the Saints.
Following this is Gary Rowett at 5/2, who was sacked by Oxford United earlier this season, despite leading the U’s to survival in the previous campaign.

Russell Martin and Dean Smith are both considered to also be in the running at 7/1.
Martin is yet to return to the dugout since he was sacked by Rangers in October after an awful spell in charge, while former Foxes manager Smith is currently in charge of MLS side Charlotte FC.
