Sean Dyche makes immediate Elliot Anderson decision at Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest are battling to keep Elliot Anderson at the club as new manager Sean Dyche ponders over where he sees the midfielder in his plans.
The England international has been at the centre of transfer speculation as he continues his upwards trajectory at the City Ground.
Sources told Football Insider that Newcastle are keen to re-sign Anderson as Eddie Howe looks to bolster his midfield.
Also, in the hunt, Man United have been impressed by Anderson with Ruben Amorim looking to transform his inconsistent midfield.
Yet, the final decision over where the 22-year-old will end up come the end of the season will be down to the player, the club and the manager.

Dyche sees Anderson as key to his Nottingham Forest plans in bid to swerve relegation
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Garibaldi are determined to hold onto their prized midfielder despite the intense interest.
Even Man City are contemplating a swap deal for Anderson, finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider, as Premier League giants chase after his signature.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast over the number eight’s importance to Dyche, I explained: “One thing that will impact his future [is] the managerial situation.

“Whoever is in charge of Nottingham Forest will want to keep Elliot Anderson. There’s no doubt about that. He is going to be a key man for them.
“He’s going to be key for Sean Dyche now as he looks to guide them away from trouble at the wrong end of the Premier League table and he will have a big role to play for them.
“The thing is for Forest, if he continues to enhance his reputation like he has done in recent months and the last couple of seasons with his performances for Nottingham Forest and especially England, it’s just going to increase the interest in Anderson.”
Anderson critical to Dyche’s plans with Evangelos Marinakis unlikely to provide new January arrivals
Despite his appointment, the former Everton boss will seemingly have to utilise the players he inherited from Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou.

Sources told Football Insider that Dyche will not receive any new players in January as he works with the squad at his disposal.
This makes fending off any suitors for Anderson imperative in order for the ex-Burnley manager to thrive at his new club.
Evangelos Marinakis did spend big last summer and the owner’s expectations will be high for Postecoglou’s successor to deliver immediately and return on investment.
