Gordon: This Celtic sensation can play in the Premier League (not Dembele)

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has stated that Stuart Armstrong’s current form is good enough for the Premier League.
The midfield sensation has been on the lips of supporters and pundits alike after a series of inspirational performances for both club and country.
His riveting form at Celtic saw him earn his debut Scotland cap in the 1-0 win over Slovenia on Sunday.
Armstrong has found the net in all of his last three league games for the Bhoys, including a brilliant goal from the edge of the box in the Old Firm derby against Rangers on March 12.
Gordon, who has recently penned a new contract at Parkhead, has said that it is possible that teams from the south of the Scottish border could be looking to raid Celtic for Armstrong in the summer after his latest purple patch.

“He could play at Premier League level. He’s turning into a big player and doing it in big games. He’s scoring against Rangers and creating goals for Scotland,” said the senior Celtic player, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“He’s got everything really and is playing with confidence. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some big teams looking at him.”
Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair might have grabbed most of the Celtic headlines this season, but Armstrong has been in superb form and has had a hand in 19 goals in all competitions.
The 24-year-old has scored 12 goals and supplied seven assists for the Hoops in a campaign that has seen them go unbeaten against teams in domestic competition.
