Sessegnon backed to sign for new club in January after Tottenham insider update – pundit
Alan Hutton has urged Ryan Sessegnon to leave Tottenham on loan in January for the good of his career.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs defender insisted the 21-year-old needs to be playing regularly to reach his full potential.
Tottenham insider John Wenham told this site (18th October) a Championship move could be on the cards for Sessegnon next year.

Meanwhile, Turkish publication Takvim (12th October) claim Fenerbahce manager Vitor Perreira wants to take the left-sided wing-back to the Super Lig.
Hutton, who came up against Sessegnon during his playing days, admitted he still does not know the Spurs starlet’s best position.
He suggested a loan move in January would help the youngster “find out about himself”.
Asked if a move away from Spurs would be best for Sessegnon, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I think it will be, if I’m totally honest.
“I think he’s a brilliant player. I played against him, I know what he’s all about. He’s still very young so he’ll still be learning.
“I think his one problem is I’m not so sure what his best position is. Is he a left-winger, a left-back? Is he more a midfielder or higher up?
“I think that’s the main problem that he has. I did think he would get more game time. There have been injuries there, there’s maybe a confidence problem.

“I would want to move out somewhere on loan. He can have a future at Tottenham but it’s a matter of going out and finding out about himself. Where is his best position?
“Playing for a club regularly to come back a better player and then really try and focus on getting into that Tottenham team. I think it would be good for him to go out on loan.”
