Paddy Kenny backs Bogle to ‘shine’ after £5m Sheffield United transfer report
Jayden Bogle can “shine” for Sheffield United in the Championship next season if George Baldock quits this summer.
That is according to ex-Blades goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 20-year-old United right-back.
Baldock was generally preferred to Bogle in the top-flight last season as he started 32 games to the youngster’s 12.

The Star reported yesterday (1st July) that Celtic are prepared to offer between £5million and £8m for the 28-year-old.
Bogle, a three-time England Under-21 international, featured 77 times for Derby in second-tier before joining the Blades last summer.
And Kenny insists that Baldock’s departure would give Bogle the platform to shine in the Championship in 2021-22.
“I don’t see why he can’t cement himself in that right-back position next season,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“The Championship as a division is a different standard to the Premier League, at the end of the day.
“If Baldock does end up leaving then it will be a totally different place for him, definitely.
“He came from Derby when they were in the Championship and he did well there. He can really push on and maybe shine at a slightly lower level.”

Baldock has featured 139 times for the recently-relegated Blades since signing from MK Dons in 2017.
Kenny told Football Insider earlier today (2nd July) that he has all the right attributes to be a roaring success for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
