Diallo could be about to make ‘big mistake’ amid Sheffield United update – Paddy Kenny
Man United wonderkid Amad Diallo could be about to make a “big mistake” if he chooses not to join Sheffield United on loan.
So says Blades icon Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 19-year-old who signed from Atalanta last January.
This site revealed on 19 August that the Blades are in talks to sign the winger on a season-long loan deal.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted on 21 August that Diallo’s personal preference is to join a Premier League club this summer.
Diallo signed a five-year contract when he joined Man United for a fee of £34million including add-ons.
But Kenny insists that his relative lack of first-team experience means it would be a misstep to join a Premier League side over the Blades.
“It would be a big mistake,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“He’s 19 years old and he hasn’t played many games at a senior level. Why not go out and ply your trade at a massive club like Sheffield United?
“They haven’t had the best of starts but they will still want to be pushing for promotion. It would be a great opportunity for him and huge for Sheff U.

“They paid ridiculous money for him. He wants to play in the Premier League but he’s only played seven or eight games in his career.
“Get him out there, go an let him express himself and give him a chance to prove himself before he goes back Man United.”
In other news, this is the real reason Sheffield United attempt to sign Ronaldo Viera collapsed at eleventh hour.
