No player divides opinion at Ibrox like the 24-year-old Englishman, who is often criticised by fans despite scoring 17 goals this season.
The accusation that often gets levelled at the player is that he doesn’t do enough for the team – apart from score goals – which is both a good and problem to have.
Despite signing a new deal earlier this year, no doubt plenty of clubs in the Championship would be interested in signing Windass and if the new boss felt that he could improve on the player then the Gers would no doubt sell if the money was right.
