'At Spurs next season' - Fans react to Tottenham-linked goal machine display after done deal claim

By Richard Parks
Tottenham fans are among those who have taken to Twitter to urge their club to sign Ryan Sessegnon after his latest decisive performance for Fulham in their promotion bid.
The 17-year-old sensation scored his 13th Championship goal of the season as the Londoners beat runaway leaders Wolves 2-0 at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening.
It comes after former Fulham striker and BBC pundit Liam Rosenior insisted on the Totally Football Show that “a deal has been done” to sign Sessegnon as he prepares to make a blockbuster summer move to a Premier League big hitter.
Rosenior explained that the dazzling wide man’s “future is already mapped out” amid strong rumours he is heading to Tottenham.
Sessegnon, 17, has emerged as one of the outstanding young players in English football following two eyecatching campaigns for Fulham and a series of sensational recent displays, which have yielded six goals from his last seven matches as he has developed into a goal machine at the crunch point of the season.
“I think that a deal has been done for Ryan as teams have been in for him,” said Rosenior on the Totally Football Show.
“It’s a Premier League side with strong rumours of Tottenham. I wouldn’t be surprised if other sides have been in for him as well.
“He’s stays at Fulham before moving in the summer, his future is already mapped out.”
Tottenham fans are excited about Rosenior’s claims, hailing him as “special” and “ridiculous”, and are hoping he does sign with them and not another Premier League competitor instead.
Supporters of rival Premier League clubs have urged their teams to beat Spurs to the signing of a player who is even being touted as a potential player for England at this summer’s World Cup.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Sessegnon can play anywhere on the flank and swaps between left-back and left midfield on almost a match-by-match basis.
He has scored 13 goals in 33 league matches this season, and also weighed in with four assists, even though over half of those have come in defence.
