Controversial former chairman Simon Jordan has not held back in his latest assessment of Scottish football –in particular Celtic’s Champions League campaign.
Jordan gave a typically sarcastic reply after someone implied that the Premier League is overrated.
Speaking on his personal Twitter account, the ex-Crystal Palace chief mockingly called Celtic “world shakers” after recalling their loss to Gibraltar minnows Lincoln Red Imps at the beginning of the campaign.
Mate you got beat in a game by youngboys or ladyboys in the CL qualifers , no sorry it was Lincoln Red Imps .. yep world shakers you lot https://t.co/P6yA1EZe8c

Brendan Rodgers was taking charge of his first competitive game for the Bhoys after he replaced Ronny Deila as manager.
However it wasn’t a day to remember as his side fell to an embarrassing 1-0 defeat to the Red Imps.

Celtic did redeem themselves in the second leg though as they secured their place in the third qualifying round with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Mikael Lustig, Leigh Griffiths and Patrick Roberts.
They were eventually knocked out of the UCL at the group stage after drawing some tough ties against Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Bhoys have not lost a game in domestic competition this season and look well on their way to winning the treble after they recently secured the Scottish Premiership title.
Jordan spent most of Monday morning trolling the Celtic supporters after Rodgers claimed that the Glasgow club could secure a top six finish in the England Premier League.
