FIFA 17 has predicted that there will be no shocks in Celtic’s trip to Inverness as they will ease to a 2-0 victory on Wednesday night.
Scott Sinclair and Erik Sviatchenko scored two first half goals in the simulation.
The overall result will not cause any surprise, although it is worth mentioning that Moussa Dembele will not extend his impressive goalscoring run to five games in this version of events.
The EA Sports game predicted that Brendan Rodgers’ side will enjoy a relatively stress-free game as they boss 60% possession and pepper the Inverness goal with 13 shots, compared to their three.
In the FIFA 17 match, Celtic will dominate with their passing game and achieve a staggering 92% pass completion rate.
Sinclair would move on to 17 goals in the season if these events were to materialise and also become joint-top goalscorer in the league with Moussa Dembele, who has 15 league goals to his name.
Should FIFA 17 be correct, the former Chelsea and Manchester City winger will score a tidy finish after a clever passing move in the 7th minute.
The game has Sviatchenko down to score a header from a corner after the Inverness defenders failed to deal with his aerial prowess.
The result would mean yet more revenge against the team who have tainted the Bouys’ almost unblemished league record this season.
Celtic recorded their only draw of their unbeaten campaign when they were held by Cally in a 2-2 draw in September.
Since then Celtic have beaten them 3-0 in the league and 6-0 in the cup.
After Aberdeen’s loss to Hamilton Tuesday, the predicted victory would mean that Celtic will move 27 points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of the league standings.
