Sky Sports details major Liverpool update on Salah after reported contact over sale
Liverpool have not been in contact with Real Madrid about a potential sale of goal machine Mohamed Salah, according to a report.
Sky Sports claims that there has been no communication between the two Champions League semi-finalists after the Daily Mail reported that Liverpool told Madrid that they wanted £200million in order to sell the in-form Egypt international.
Salah, 25, has been sensational since signing for the Reds from Roma last year in a deal worth £34million.
He has scored 43 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions and there have been talks of him breaking the trend of either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo winning the Balon D’Or.
It is understood that Salah is earning £90,000-a-week in his deal at Anfield, which still has another four years remaining on it.

No matter what happens in the summer, Liverpool should rebuff everything that is thrown their way when it comes to Salah. If there’s anyone who can lead the Reds to their first ever Premier League title then it is definitely this guy. Jurgen Klopp is just two or three players away from putting together a squad that is capable of finishing top of the pile and keeping Salah is going to be massive in that. Hopefully this season is not just a one off and he is able to build on it next term. Winning the Champions League would be massive for the club and Salah, but there’s no way that they should consider selling him.
In other Liverpool news, the Reds are working on two midfield goal machine deals with one on the verge of an agreement.
