Sky Sports pundit predicts Newcastle v Huddersfield
By Dominic Toner
David Prutton has predicted that Newcastle will suffer a defeat against Huddersfield on Saturday evening.
The Magpies travel to Huddersfield for a Championship match and will hope to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Rafael Benitez’s side will be boosted by the narrow 2-1 win over second-placed Brighton on Tuesday, when Ayoze Perez snatched an 89th minute winner.
However, they now face third-placed Huddersfield who are still hopeful of chasing down the automatic spots for promotion to the Premier League.
The Yorkshire club are six points adrift of Brighton and also have a game in hand.

David Wagner’s side won the previous meeting with Newcastle back August and have won six of their last seven league games.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton expects Huddersfield to win the game 2-1 and dent Newcastle’s promotion bid.
“Newcastle will have been buoyed by the result at Brighton, but Huddersfield have shown they can go up against the top teams in the division and win,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “They’ve shown the kind of team they are lately, and if they hadn’t had that dip they’d be right up there with the top two.”
Newcastle were the pre-season favourites to secure promotion and have managed to match those expectations so far.
They will move 11 points clear of Huddersfield with a win and it would take a dramatic collapse to miss out on automatic promotion.
The Magpies managed to beat Brighton without their star striker Dwight Gayle and proved they have enough strength in their squad.
However, Prutton feels that Huddersfield will keep the race for promotion exciting with a valuable three points.
In other Newcastle news, Micky Quinn claims these two senior players cannot play together.
