Sky Sports pundit predicts Rangers v Aberdeen, this powerhouse will be key
By Matt Farr
Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker believes Aberdeen will triumph over rivals Rangers on Wednesday night.
The two sides go head-to-head for the final time in the Scottish Premiership this season, with Rangers having won their last encounter with Aberdeen by a 3-0 margin last month.
However, Walker expects Pedro Caixinha’s side to be in for a tough evening at Ibrox, predicting the visitors to run out narrow 2-1 winners.
He also backed 23-year-old goalscorer Jayden Stockley to be the main threat for the Dons, insisting he brings a ‘different dimension’ to the Aberdeen attack.
Stockley has scored six goals this season from 37 appearances in all competitions.

Walker told Sky Sports: “This powerhouse [Stockley] brings a different dimension to Aberdeen’s attack and a big performance from him can keep him in the manager’s thoughts for a cup final start.”
The two sides have locked horns on three occasions this season, with Rangers winning two, and Aberdeen winning one.
But despite defeats in their last two meetings with Rangers, Aberdeen currently hold the advantage over their rivals, having opened up a six-point lead in the battle to finish second in the Scottish Premiership table.
The two managers, Caixinha and Derek McInnes, have already engaged in a war of words ahead of the clash, with the Ibrox chief having criticised their upcoming opponents.
Caixinha claimed that Aberdeen were a club nearing ‘the end of their cycle’, whilst insisting that his Rangers side were on the way up.
