Graeme Souness believes that Tottenham ace Dele Alli has all the tools to get to the very top, claiming only injury or a lack of discipline can prevent him.
The 20-year-old has recently emerged into one of the most exciting talents in world football and has enjoyed a meteoric rise at Spurs.
He only completed a move to White Hart Lane in 2015 and has become one of their most important players.
The attacking midfielder has been in sensational form so far this season during his 42 appearances, scoring 19 goals and supplying 10 assists n return.
Sky Sports pundit Souness has highlighted the two areas that will determine Alli’s path in the game, but is sure that he has a huge future ahead of him if he applies himself correctly.

“At 20-years-old, Dele Alli has the world at his feet,” Souness told Sky Sports. “He doesn’t look out of place as a star of the Premier League – a league regarded as the hardest to play in with some of world’s great players.
“How far can he go? Two things will determine how far he can go. If he’s unlucky, injuries could play a part, or if he stops turning up every game wanting to learn. But he strikes me as someone whose feet are on the ground with the determination to get to the very top.”
Alli has played an important role in Spurs’ title push this campaign and has helped them to just seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
The north London club recruited the playmaker from MK Dons and he has made a colossal impact in the first team.
He has also become an integral part of England’s side and is viewed as a major hope for the nation in the future.
In other Tottenham news, the club’s supporters reacted to a bizarre celebration during the Watford win.
