Sky Sports Scottish football pundits Ian Crocker and Andy Walker have been predicting the upcoming Scottish Premiership fixtures and both are in agreement that Celtic will win this midweek.
In their column on the Sky Sports website, both men are tipping the Bhoys to defeat Hamilton, but differ on the scoreline and key man for the Celts.
Ian Crocker is going for a comfortable 2-0 win for Celtic, and his key man is Scott Sinclair who has “scored goals galore and still a match winner.”
Meanwhile Walker is tipping an emphatic 4-0 victory for the Hoops, his key man is James Forrest, who he thinks is “the most productive player in the Premiership” this season, high praise from the former Hoops striker.
Both men were involved in Celtic’s recent 2-2 draw with Hibs, the under-fire Sinclair scoring twice to take his total of goals for the season to 14, whilst Forrest, who had a quiet game by his high standards of the season so far, missed an absolute sitter in the first-half when the match was still goalless.
The Hoops go into Wednesday’s match at Celtic Park five points clear of closest challengers Rangers and Aberdeen, albeit with a game in hand.
The earlier meeting this season between the teams saw the Bhoys triumph 4-1 at New Douglas Park in September, thanks to goals from Odsonne Edouard, Stuart Armstrong and a Scott Sinclair double.
In other Celtic news, Leigh Griffiths has shot down reports that he has fallen out with Brendan Rodgers
