'Sloth', 'Major problem' - Tottenham fans destroy one player following loss v Man City

Tottenham fans took to social media to destroy Mousa Dembele for his performance against Manchester City, as Spurs slumped to a 4-1 defeat.

One fan asked when did Dembele become a sloth, and several fans simply labeled the midfielder too slow to play against the league leaders.

The midfielder has played 17 times across all competitions for Tottenham, with Dembele only missing five leagues this season.

Manchester City took the lead in the 14th minute of the game through İlkay Gündoğan before scoring three goals in the second-half.

Kevin De Bruyne scored in the 70th minute before Raheem Sterling grabbed a brace to make it 4-0.

Then Christian Eriksen scored a consolation goal for Tottenham in the 93rd minute to make it 4-1.

The defeat against Manchester City was Spurs’ first in three league games, after Tottenham had successfully improved their form by beating Brighton and Stoke City.

The 4-1 defeat to Manchester City means Spurs are 21 points behind them, and two points behind fourth placed Arsenal.
