'I'd snap him up tomorrow' - Exclusive: Mills urges Man City to swoop for player wowing at Leeds
Danny Mills urged Manchester City to swoop for defender Ben White with him currently impressing for Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the former Man City and Leeds defender shared that he believes White has real quality and he’d snap him up tomorrow if he was Pep Guardiola.
The 22-year-old centre-back is currently on loan at Elland Road from Brighton and it was reported that the Premier League club may find a £25million bid for him hard to resist.
Mills suggested that £25million wasn’t too much to pay for White when you consider his potential.
When asked about White potentially having a £25million price tag, Mills told Football Insider: “People are always looking at potential and yeah you can buy a player for £25million.
“I’ve said Man City should be looking at him, without a shadow of a doubt, he’s got real quality.

The centre-back has featured 24 times for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, racking up one assist in the process.
Brighton originally planned for him to spend the season with Leeds on loan before implementing him into their first-team but it is believed all the interest he is gaining is causing them a massive headache.
White signed a one-year contract extension with the Seagulls before joining Leeds on loan so his current deal with the Premier League outfit isn’t set to expire until 2022.
