Solanke and Richards react to Bournemouth ace Tyler Adams’ ‘step forward’ message
Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams has taken to social media to issue a new update, with Dominic Solanke and Chris Richard among those to react.
Andoni Iraola‘s side caught the eye consistently throughout the 2024/25 season, despite the fact they narrowly missed out on qualifying for Europe in the final standings.
Even so, Adams still helped Bournemouth to record their best ever return in the Premier League, although that has led to a number of transfer raids on the club this summer.
Real Madrid have already completed the signing of Dean Huijsen from the Cherries, just a year after he arrived from Juventus.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have now confirmed that they have brought in left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, meaning they have lost another key man.

Tyler Adams upbeat amid international progress
Even with those departures, Adams still appears to be in a positive mindset, as he remains away on international duty.
The Bournemouth midfielder is currently representing the USA at the Gold Cup, featuring in two of his national side’s three wins during the group stage of the competition.
That ensures they have progressed to the quarter finals, where they will face Costa Rica overnight on Monday (30 June).
On Thursday (26 June), Adams took to Instagram to assess his time at the tournament so far, with the 26-year-old writing: “Another step forward, same focus”.
In response, his former Bournemouth teammate and current Tottenham striker Solanke was among those to show support by liking that post.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace centre-back Richards – who is part of the USA side along with Adams – did the same while also commenting with the reply: “FOCUSSSSS”
Bournemouth need their midfielder back fresh
Football Insider Verdict
After that perfect record in the group stage and given they are playing on home soil, the USA are among the favourites to win the Gold Cup.
As a result, it could be some time yet before Adams can get a real break after the end of the season, let alone link back up with Iraola’s side.
Having already lost so many key players, and with others potentially set to leave, with Bournemouth expected to accept an offer from PSG for Ilya Zabarnyi, they will need other senior stars to step up.
Adams is one of those who is experienced and established enough within the club to step up and do that if he is available for next season.
With that in mind, many at Bournemouth will be keeping a close eye on the Gold Cup in the hope they see their midfielder come through it fit and ready to go again.
