Solanke reacts to Wolves star Cunha’s announcement as Man United deal ‘wrapped up’
Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke reacted to an announcement from Wolves star Matheus Cunha ahead of his potential switch to Man United.
The former Atletico Madrid forward has been in spectacular form for Vitor Pereira’s side this season, scoring 15 and assisting six.
Cunha is prone to a moment of madness, such as when he inexplicably headbutted Milos Kerkez after scoring a world-class equaliser in their FA Cup game in March.
But that has not stopped clubs from targeting the Brazil international this summer, given his ability to make something out of nothing.
Pete O’Rourke exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Cunha’s move to Man United is “wrapped up”, and the club is “ready to announce it”.

Matheus Cunha announced as Wolves Player of the Season
Ahead of Wolves’ final game of the season against Brentford, Cunha shared an image of himself proudly holding his Player of the Season award, captioned: “Thanks for this award player of the season.
“No words to say how happy I was this season with all of you.
“Thank you, my colleagues, for being a family in the difficult times and in the wonderful times we spent together. This season will have a different place in my heart.
“Grateful to God for everything”.
The post was then liked by Tottenham‘s striker Solanke, showing his support for the 25-year-old.
Wolves plotting surprising moves to replace Matheus Cunha
Football Insider Verdict
Football Insider exclusively revealed in April that Wolves and Crystal Palace were exploring a move for German striker Phil Harres.
The Holstein Kiel forward has impressed in his first season in the Bundesliga, scoring eight times in his first season in the German top-flight.
Alongside a potential move for Harres, Wolves have emerged as surprise suitors for Jamie Vardy.
The Leicester legend is out of contract this summer, but after scoring nine goals in a dismal Foxes side, the 38-year-old clearly still has a lot to offer in the Premier League.
Whilst neither player is likely to be able to match the output of Cunha, both represent good value for money as the Old Gold look to fill the void that will be left by the Brazilian’s departure.
