Sources: Bournemouth agree £3m Rothwell fee with Blackburn
Blackburn Rovers and Bournemouth have agreed a fee of £3million for Joe Rothwell, Football Insider understands.
The 27-year-old is out of contract at Ewood Park this summer and has failed to agree on new terms.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that the Cherries have capitalised on the situation and have agreed on a £3million fee with Blackburn.

It comes after this site revealed (7 January) that Bournemouth were preparing a seven-figure bid for Rothwell.
Scott Parker is keen to add another midfielder to his squad ahead of Monday’s deadline.
That midfielder looks set to be Blackburn’s Rothwell.
Rothwell has been one of Rovers’ standout players this season.
He has contributed three goals and seven assists in 27 Championship appearances.
The centre-midfielder moved to Ewood Park from Oxford United in the summer of 2018.
He has made 147 appearances for Tony Mowbray’s side in total.
Rangers have been linked with a move for Rothwell in a potential cross-border pre-contract deal.
However, Bournemouth are now in pole position to conclude a deal.
The Cherries are targeting a number of late-window signings in a bid to seal promotion this season.
As revealed by this site today (30 January), the Championship club are also in advanced talks to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.

They have also agreed a deal to sign Peterborough United’s Siriki Dembele.
Scott Parker’s side are currently third in the Championship and one point behind second-placed Blackburn.
In other news, Blackpool have made a late move to sign a Bournemouth player on loan.
