Sources: Cameron Scott to sign on Sunday after Rangers deal agreed
Rangers academy star Cameron Scott will sign his first professional contract with the club on Sunday, sources have told Football Insider.
The 16-year-old sensation is set to sign a new three-year professional deal at Ibrox after agreeing terms with the club.
Scott rejected the initial deal put forward by Rangers with the intention of exploring his options south of the border amid Premier League interest, but he has now decided to stay put by penning pro terms.

Football Insider sources revealed on Thursday (9 February) that Scott agreed a deal with Rangers after making a U-turn on his future plans.
Premier League outfit Southampton were one of a handful of top-flight English clubs that were interested in signing Scott.
Rangers are delighted to have secured the future of Scott amid worries that they could lose another highly-rated star to a club down south.
Scott is viewed at Ibrox as an extremely exciting prospect with first-team potential having shone for the club’s Under-17s side this season.
The youngster has worked his way up the Rangers academy after joining the club’s youth system during his childhood.

He has also gathered experience on the international stage, with the Scottish FA recording four Scotland Under-16s caps for Scott, with his first coming against Denmark in September 2022.
Scott’s impressive performances throughout the academy process has caught the eye of first-team coaches at Ibrox, and the club moved quickly to offer him a professional contract as soon as he was eligible aged 16.
