Sources: Chelsea agree Dion Rankine deal after talks breakthrough
Chelsea winger Dion Rankine has pledged his future to the club by agreeing a new contract, sources have told Football Insider.
The forward, 20, is set to put pen to paper on a new two-year deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2025 after a breakthrough in talks.
It’s a boost for Chelsea as multiple clubs both at home and abroad were keen to sign the attacker on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Chelsea are now deciding whether or not to send Rankine out on loan before the transfer window closes next Tuesday.
A number of clubs have made contact with the Premier League giants regarding a loan deal for the rising star this season.
Rankine has spent the last seven years at Stamford Bridge after joining the Chelsea Under-14s back in 2016.
The talented winger worked his way through the youth teams at Cobham and has become a regular for the development side.
During his time in the academy, Rankine has played primarily as a winger but has also shown his versatility as a wing-back.
Rankine is yet to make his first-team debut with the Blues, but has racked up some valuable youth experience with 49 total appearances in the Premier League 2.

In those appearances, Rankine has scored six goals and assisted a further four.
Rankine also has a goal to his name in the UEFA Youth League having played in the tournament over the last two seasons.
