Sources: Leeds defender Hosannah agrees to join Wrexham as four exits on the cards

Leeds United defender Bryce Hosannah has agreed to join Wrexham on a permanent deal, Football Insider understands.

The 22-year-old has been given permission by Leeds to discuss personal terms with the National League outfit.

A Leeds source has told Football Insider that Hosannah has been offered a two-year contract by Wrexham and is set to put pen to paper by tonight’s deadline.

He could be one of four United deadline-day exits from Elland Road along with Helder Costa, Robbie Gotts and Jordan Stevens.

Costa has been given permission to hold talks with potential suitors due to the imminent signing of Dan James from Manchester United.

A number of Championship clubs have shown an interest in taking the 27-year-old winger on loan before tonight’s deadline.

Stevens has agreed to join Barrow on loan and the League Two outfit may also win the three-way race to sign Robbie Gotts.

Oldham and Motherwell are also keen on signing the midfielder on a permanent basis.

Speaking to the BBC yesterday, Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson confirmed his side’s interest in Hosannah.

He said: “He’s [Hosannah] one of a couple of players we’re looking at.”

The Whites right-back spent last season on loan at Bradford City and made 11 appearances in total.

A product of Crystal Palace’s academy, Hosannah joined Leeds in July 2017 but he is still yet to make his debut for the club.

His contract at Elland Road is set to expire at the end of June next year.
