Sources: Moore undergoing Hearts medical as Portsmouth snubbed by Bristol City star
Hearts have won the race to sign Bristol City defender Taylor Moore, Football Insider has learned.
The Scottish Premiership outfit have fended off competition from EFL duo Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic to agree terms with the centre-back.
An industry source has told Football Insider that Moore, 24, is heading to Hearts for a medical and to complete a loan move.

The defender has been frozen out of Nigel Pearson’s side in the new Championship campaign.
Moore has made just one appearance this term, playing 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup first round shoot-out defeat away at Forest Green.
Robins boss Pearson has instead opted for a centre-half partnership comprised of Czech Republic international Tomas Kalas and youngster Robert Atkinson.
The one-time West Ham youngster has two years to run on his current deal at Ashton Gate.
However, Bristol City have the option to extend his contract by a further year.
Moore, who earned six caps for England’s U20s, can also operate at right-back.
The defender tasted European U-17 Championship victory with England in 2014.
After starting his senior career with French club Lens, Moore made the switch to Bristol in 2016.
Since then, the Walthamstow-born defender has been loaned to Bury, Cheltenham, Southend United – and most recently, Blackpool.
Moore amassed 22 Championship appearances for the Robins last season, but has found himself out of Pearson’s plans this term.
Hearts are set to make the defender their sixth summer signing at Tynecastle Park.

Josh Ginnelly, Alex Cochrane, Beni Baningime, and Ben Woodburn, on loan, have all signed.
Livingston’s 26-year-old goalkeeper Alex Stewart also made the switch to Hearts, signing a two-year deal.
In other news, Alex McLeish has accused this English side of “insulting” the Scottish game.
