Newcastle have already completed a reported £55million deal for AC Milan and Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali, who has penned a five-year contract at St James’ Park.
The Magpies have also wrapped up the arrival of Gambia international winger Yankuba Minteh – who has immediately gone on loan to Eredivisie winners Feyenoord.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (7 July) that Newcastle are pushing to complete a deal for Leicester City star Harvey Barnes.
He managed a healthy return of 13 goals and three assists in 40 games across all competitions last term – despite the Foxes’ relegation to the Championship.
Meanwhile, sources have also told Football Insider (4 July) that Newcastle hope to land centre-back target Goncalo Inacio for a fee below the £51.5million release clause in his Sporting CP contract.

Newcastle have released Ciaran Clark and Matty Longstaff this summer – while striker Chris Wood has joined Nottingham Forest on a permanent basis.
