Sources: Nottingham Forest agree to sign Burnley star Wayne Hennessey
Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Burnley goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, Football Insider understands.
Forest have already signed Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson on loan and are now set to add a second new keeper in what will be viewed as an unexpected move.
A Forest source has told Football Insider that the club have secured a full agreement for the capture of Hennessey.

The 35-year-old is set to join on a permanent deal after a fee was agreed between the two clubs.
The Wales international has struggled for game time since joining Burnley on a free transfer from Crystal Palace in July 2021.
He made just three appearances for the Clarets in the 2021-22 campaign.
Hennessey has lost his status as Wales’ number one goalkeeper over the past 12 months to Leicester City’s Danny Ward.
However, an injury to Ward allowed Hennessey to start in crucial World Cup play-off wins over Austria and Ukraine.
The ex-Wolves shot-stopper has made 183 Premier League appearances over the course of his career.
He has kept clean sheets in 37 of those matches.
Forest manager Steve Cooper views Hennessey as a reliable back-up for Dean Henderson next season.
Henderson’s arrival on loan from Man United was announced on Saturday.
The England international has moved to the City Ground in search of regular game time ahead of this winter’s World Cup.
Brice Samba is expected to leave Forest this summer after entering the final 12 months of his contract.
In other news, a pundit has backed Nottingham Forest to sign a “great alternative” to Djed Spence after bid update.
