Sources: Nottingham Forest in talks to seal Huddersfield double deal after bid tabled
Nottingham Forest are working on a double deal to sign Huddersfield duo Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League new boys have submitted bids for midfielder O’Brien and left-back Toffolo and talks are ongoing between both clubs.
Forest have targeted the Huddersfield star pair after they impressed last season and Reds boss Steve Cooper is hopeful of adding the pair to his new-look squad.

Further talks are expected in the coming hours as Forest try to secure a full agreement.
O’Brien, 23, signed a new deal in September 2021 after multiple bids from Leeds United.
On 2 October, a Huddersfield source told Football Insider that the new deal includes a £10million release clause.
The versatile midfielder made 45 appearances in the 2021-22 Championship season as the Terriers lost the play-off final to Forest.
Toffolo, 26, is out of contract in the summer of 2023.
He made 45 appearances in the 2021-22 Championship season, scoring six goals and registering seven assists.
The defender has been at the club since January 2020 after an impressive spell with Lincoln City.
Huddersfield remain in turmoil following the resignation of manager Carlos Corberan last Thursday (7 July).

Nottingham Forest have already been busy this summer, signing Taiwo Awoniyi, Neco Williams, Moussa Niakhate, Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards and Dean Henderson.
They will begin their Premier League season with a trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United on 6 August.
