Sources: Rangers make Youssef Chermiti transfer plan
Rangers are set to hold on to Youssef Chermiti in January despite his difficult start to life in Glasgow.
Chermiti joined Rangers from Everton over the summer yet his move has been nothing short of a disaster thus far.
Danny Rohl thinks he can get the best out of Chermiti, yet the forward has managed just the one goal since his arrival at the Ibrox.
Gers fans are growing frustrated with the Portuguese with pressure mounting for a flash January sale to cut their losses after bringing him in in the last transfer window.

Rangers unlikely to sell Chermiti in January with few suitors seeking his services
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Teddy Bears will remain patient with the ex-Everton striker despite his slow start.
An example of his struggles, Chermiti was underwhelming against Celtic in the Old Firm Derby on 2 November and his form still hasn’t picked up since then.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast over the 21-year-old being given more time before Rangers make a final decision on his future, I explained: “I don’t think they’ll move them on in January and there’s no way they’ll get back what they paid for them in January as well.

“He’s struggled for form. He’s maybe not played as often as he would like to have as well. We can’t just judge him yet, he’s so early on into his Rangers career.
“Rangers will be hoping that he can now nail down a place in that starting XI and they’ll be hoping that he can get a run of form and score goals and that’ll ease the pressure on Chermiti as well.
“I don’t imagine they would be looking to sell in January and with his current form and lack of goals, I don’t think there’ll be too many takers for him either.”
Danny Rohl to continue handing strikers lifelines with Danilo saved from January axe
The new era under the German at the Ibrox offers a clean slate for all players, even those who struggled under Russell Martin.

Sources told Football Insider that Danilo will be handed a second chance at Rangers after a difficult beginning to life in Glasgow.
The Brazilian has netted twice since Rohl was appointed and will be battling it out with Chermiti for a starting berth moving forward.
