Sources: Rotherham agree six-figure fee with Hamilton for Odoffin
Rotherham have agreed a deal to sign Hamilton Academical defensive midfielder Hakeem Odoffin, Football Insider understands.
The 23-year-old signed a one-year contract extension in March with his new deal running until next summer.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider the Scottish club have accepted a six-figure bid from the Millers.
On 28th July, the Daily Record quoted Accies boss Brian Rice as saying he was “delighted” for his midfielder after a deal was agreed.
He also hoped the transfer fee would be reinvested into his squad before the transfer window closes.
That six-figure fee should give Rice the ability to sign a replacement before the window closes at the end of August.

Odoffin is well-travelled, despite only being 23.
He joined Hamilton last summer after a spell with Livingston.
The midfielder had previously had brief spells with Northampton Town, Eastleigh and Barnet.
Odoffin came through the Tottenham academy before being released and spending town years with Reading.
Rotherham will be his fourth permanent club in four years.
The Millers are looking for an immediate return to the Championship following last year’s relegation.
As such, Odoffin may not be the only arrival at the New York Stadium after this site revealed yesterday that Rotherham have agreed a deal to sign Oliver Rathbone from Rochdale.
He will also join for a six-figure fee as the Millers flex their financial muscles in League One.
Rathbone’s arrival will help fill the void left by Matt Crooks’ departure to Middlesbrough earlier this summer.
Rotherham continue to look for proven third-tier operators after their relegation from the Championship last season.
