Sources: Tottenham submit King offer – and want deal done in weeks
Tottenham have offered a two-year scholarship contract to defender Maeson King, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
Spurs have been working in recent months to fill their Academy squad with top talent ahead of next summer.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club have moved to secure King to a scholarship and want a deal done in the coming weeks.

The Under-16s starlet has bolstered his reputation with a series of impressive displays at age-group level for the club this season.
King is among a group of young talents who have already been offered early scholarships by the London giants.
Football Insider revealed the club have also offered the two-year deals to 15-year-old attacker Samuel Amo-Ameyaw, 15-year-old centre-back duo Archie Chaplin and Pele Arganese-McDermott as well as 15-year-old goalkeeper Elliot Krasniqi and goalscoring midfielder Han Willhoft-King.
Spurs typically offer scholarships around February or March, with the deals then starting on 1 June.
But Tottenham, like with Krasniqi, Willhoft-King, Amo-Ameyaw, Arganese-McDermott and Chaplin, are keen to tie down King ahead of the new year to avoid him being snapped up by rival teams.
Tottenham have a reputation for giving opportunities to their best youngsters.
In the past year, teenage trio Dane Scarlett, Alfie Devine and Nile John have all made their first-team debuts after graduating from the academy.

It remains to be seen how much further opportunity there will be under Antonio Conte.
He has renowned for putting a big emphasis on experience and proven calibre, with Spurs expected to be one of the busier Premier League clubs in the January window.
