Sources: West Ham now want to sign three Man United first-team stars

West Ham are interested in signing Man United stars Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire, sources have told Football Insider.

The London club are keeping tabs on their situation at Old Trafford, with all three players falling down Erik ten Hag’s pecking order this season.

David Moyes is a big admirer of the trio and has shortlisted them as potential targets for the summer transfer window.

West Ham

Maguire’s high wages at Old Trafford are a slight concern for West Ham, and the London club are not the only side interested in the England international, with interest coming from other Premier League clubs as well as from abroad.

Football Insider sources revealed last month (19 February) that the Red Devils are ready to listen to offers of £25million for academy graduate Mctominay.

All three players missed out on the starting lineup for United in their recent Carabao Cup final, with McTominay and Maguire named as substitutes by Ten Hag.

McTominay has played the most minutes out of the three players this season having made 28 appearances across all competitions.

Maguire has fallen behind Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez at United and made just 21 appearances, while Martial‘s injury issues have limited him to just 14 first-team outings.

Man United

The 29-year-old defender was made captain of the Red Devils after joining from Leicester City in 2019, and he has racked up 165 total appearances for United.

Martial joined United from Monaco back in 2015 but struggles with injury have slowed down his career in Manchester and he has missed 21 matches already this season while in the treatment room.
