Sources: Wolves make move to sign Southampton star Che Adams as three-man signing plan revealed
Wolves have registered their interest in signing Southampton striker Che Adams this month, sources have told Football Insider.
The Molineux club’s main priority is to recruit a forward in this window after agreeing the loan departures of Sasa Kalajdzic and Fabio Silva to Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers respectively.
Gary O’Neil’s side are also trailing West Ham forward Danny Ings and Paris Saint-Germain outcast Hugo Ekitike.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (8 January) that the Irons want a loan fee for Ings, 31, and will also demand Wolves cover his wages for the duration of any potential agreement.
David Moyes’ side will also need to find a replacement striker before allowing the ex-Aston Villa star to leave following injuries to Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen.
It is believed Wolves would prefer a loan to a permanent move this month as they continue to operate under tight Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Southampton are weighing up whether to allow Adams to leave for a fee this month or keep him until the end of the season and allow him to leave for free when his contract expires in June.
The Scotland international, 27, has managed seven goals and two assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for the promotion chasers this season.
Adams joined the Saints in 2019 and scored 25 goals in 124 Premier League games before relegation from the top-flight last year.

Wolves are currently without top scorer Hwang-hee Chan, who is away at the Asian Cup with South Korea.
O’Neil’s side sit 11th in the Premier League ahead of their next top-flight fixture against Brighton on 22 January.
