Outspoken pundit Stan Collymore was full of praise for Leeds starlet Mallik Wilks after coming on during the clash against Sutton on Sunday.
The 18-year-old suffered devastation on Thursday after his older brother was shot dead in a targeted attack in Leeds.
However, the emerging ace was still able to feature in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat against Sutton, coming from the bench on the 64th minute for the more experienced Souleymane Doukara.
Collymore hailed the youngster’s courage on his personal Twitter account during the clash in a match which saw very few Leeds players leave the pitch with any credit.
“Good on you Malik Wilks, takes some spirit to do what you did today,” wrote Collymore on social media after the young starlet came onto the pitch.
