Steven Gerrard ‘increasingly likely’ to be Leicester City manager after recent development
Steven Gerrard remains on the hunt for a way back into management after the Liverpool legend left Al-Ettifaq Club in January 2025.
So far, the 45-year-old has had a mixed experience in the dugout, finding success in Scotland, but failing at Aston Villa in the Premier League.
While Gerrard was given a chance to return to Rangers in October, he turned down this opportunity, as the wait goes on for him to make his return.
Now, with Leicester City on the hunt for a new manager, the Englishman has been tipped to join the Championship club.

Steven Gerrard 16/1 to make Leicester City move
Leicester City are currently in serious trouble.
The six-point deduction for Leicester last week ended any promotion hopes they still had and plunged them into a relegation battle.
The Foxes are 21st in the Championship, and are only above the relegation zone on goal difference.
As a result, whoever they bring in could be the difference between survival and relegation to League One.
Football Insider recently revealed that Leicester are looking to bring in an experienced manager, rather than appoint Andy King on a permanent basis, with recent results damaging his chances.

Now, the bookies believe Gerrard has an increasingly likely chance to secure the job.
The former Villa boss is just 16/1 to move to the King Power Stadium, according to one bookmaker, with Oddschecker confirming that these odds have been slashed.
Who is the current favourite for the Leicester job?
At present, Russell Martin is the favourite to take over at Leicester City at 5/2.
Despite his failings at Rangers earlier in the season, the manager still holds a sizable reputation in England for his success at delivering promotion to Southampton in the 2023-24 campaign.
Following this, Lincoln City manager and King at both at 4/1, with the Imps currently in second in League One.

Gary Rowett is still considered a potential appointment at 5/1. The manager was sacked by Oxford United earlier this season, but did guide them to survival last campaign.
A potential outsider is Chris Coleman at 6/1. The former Sunderland boss was an early favourite for the role, but the odds of him going to the King Power Stadium have tumbled in recent days.
