Celtic fans were shocked and stunned to see January signing Marvin Compper on the pitch to see the Hoops life the Scottish Premiership title for the seventh season in a row.
The German has only played one game since signing from Leipzig in January, but was on the pitch to receive a league winners medal with the rest of the first-team squad after the 1-0 loss to Aberdeen.
Fans couldn’t believe that the 32-year-old was there, with one claiming to be relived that Compper wasn’t “a figment of my imagination”.
Ironically enough, the only game Compper has played for the Hoops this season wasn’t even in the league, it was in the Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Morton.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter as Hoops fans were stunned to see the mysterious centre-back on the pitch joining in with the title winning celebrations:

The player doesn’t seem to have much of a future at Celtic Park, as Brendan Rodgers has been content to go with the likes of Jozo Simunovic and Jack Hendry in defence when either Dedryck Boyata or Kristoffer Ajer have been unavailable.
It wouldn’t be much of a shock at all if the player and the club came to an agreement and he was released in the summer, after the Scottish Cup Final, it would be best for both parties.
