Gylfi Sigurdsson, Theo Walcott and Bernard could all thrive in a better Everton team according to Michael Brown.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Sheffield United midfielder claimed Walcott can be unplayable at times.

The Times claim Everton are willing to listen to offers to Walcott, Bernard, Sigurdsson and Fabian Delph.

The club are also looking to offload Yannick Bolasie, Sandro Ramirez and Mo Besic who all spent last season out on loan.

This site revealed last month that the Toffees were willing to make a £20million loss on Bolasie who they signed for an initial £25million from Crystal Palace four years ago.

Asked by Football Insider whether he expected Walcott, Bernard, Delph and Sigurdsson to be at Goodison Park next season, Brown said: “There’s some really good players there who will want to be a part of Everton, so I’d be surprised if all of them went.

“I think all of them, at times, can contribute in a big way.

“But we’ve seen some have had some injuries, some have suffered from a lack of form.

“Delph has gone there and not played as much as you’d have liked.

“Walcott, down the right, can be unplayable at times, but then at times it doesn’t always work for him.

“Sigurdsson, we’ve seen him be fantastic.

“Bernard, in a better Everton side, with more of the ball and more creativity, then he can unlock a team.

“They’ve all got a chance in a better team.”
