Celtic fans on social media seem a bit surprised that Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers has decided to field a very strong team for the Bhoys’ final league game of the season against Aberdeen.

The surprise is because the Hoops are only six days away from the Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell where their treble dreams will be on the line.

The Hoops team was announced on their official Twitter account a short time ago.

One fan feels that the team should be ‘deleted’ and that sub Patrick Roberts should have started in what is likely to be his final appearance for the Hoops, whilst another is pleased that Moussa Dembele has returned to the starting line-up

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the Hoops’ starting line-up:

The team that has been selected for the game against Aberdeen seems likely to be the team that will be selected for the Scottish Cup Final, unless there are injuries.

The game is relatively meaningless for the Bhoys as they are league champions, but Aberdeen are still in the battle for second place in the Scottish Premiership table, and at the moment they are only one point ahead of second placed Rangers, as the Scottish Premiership comes to the end of another exciting season.
